Cloud Engineer

Responsibility:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business challenges and design scalable, cloud-native architecture solutions.
• Contribute to defining and implementing the AWS Cloud operational model to support enterprise needs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues within hybrid environments, coordinating across AWS services, on-premises infrastructure and third-party systems.
• Support migration of enterprise-scale workflow and orchestration platforms to AWS using modern cloud technologies and best practices.
• Develop automation scripts to optimize and streamline cloud operations and infrastructure management.
• Design and develop cloud applications leveraging AWS native services based on evolving business requirements.
• Maintain internal documentation and actively support ongoing cloud operations and governance activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in software development, systems analysis and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud engineering solutions.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud services, architecture and operational best practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development and operations.
• Preferred experience in Python scripting for automation and operations.
• Background in application development using languages such as Java, C# or Node.js will be an advantage.
• Practical experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, Lambda, EventBridge and Step Functions.
• Proficient in implementing, testing and maintaining disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Enthusiastic about analytics, emerging technologies and continuous learning.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a small (10-person), cross-functional team.
• Self-driven with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and client-facing communication; direct customer engagement experience preferred.
• Skilled in creating clear technical documentation, including system diagrams and process manuals.
