Business Analyst_International brokerage_Up to 90K

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth business analysis on trading and post-trade workflows, translating complex business needs into clear, detailed technical specifications.
• Lead feasibility studies, define the future-state platform vision, and drive the multi-year roadmap and delivery priorities.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Operations, Development, Application Support, and Technology Risk teams to oversee end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to regional project governance, risk, and control frameworks.
• Collaborate with local and global technology teams on requirements sign-off, testing (including UAT), deployment, and production release.
• Facilitate cross-functional prioritization discussions between business and technology.
• Prepare and execute UAT test cases, coordinate defect resolution, and support go-live activities.
• Produce high-quality documentation (BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, meeting minutes, etc.).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on Business Analyst experience within international investment banks or top-tier brokerages.
• Proven expertise in at least one of the following domains in Hong Kong, Singapore, and/or Greater China markets: – Front-office sales & trading (cash equities, derivatives, FICC) – Middle/Back-office post-trade processing and settlement
• In-depth knowledge of trade lifecycle and processing for key Asian products (China A/H-shares, Hong Kong equities, Singapore equities, Stock Connect, Bond Connect, derivatives, structured products, bonds, FX, etc.).
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements from HK SFC, SG MAS, and relevant Financial Market Infrastructures (HKEX, SGX, CCASS, CMU, etc.).
• Exceptional documentation skills – able to write concise, precise, and audience-appropriate specifications for both business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; proven ability to build trust across Front Office, Operations, and Technology.

• Project management experience coordinating scope, timeline, and resources across multiple teams.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Prior involvement in strategic platform buildouts or vendor-to-in-house migrations.
