Battery Systems Engineer / Consultant (Contract)

The successful candidate will play a critical role in investigating and resolving issues related to the temporary battery systems installed in our vehicles, providing in-depth technical analysis and practical solutions.

Position : Battery Systems Engineer / Consultant (Contract)

Location: Hong Kong SAR

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause investigation of issues in vehicle temporary battery systems.
• Perform detailed technical analysis and recommend corrective / preventive measures.
• Provide technical reports, documentation, and solution proposals to management.
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers/vendors to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Support implementation and testing of battery system improvements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in battery system design, testing, or troubleshooting (preferably in automotive or energy storage applications).
• Strong knowledge of lithium-ion and other rechargeable battery technologies, battery management systems (BMS), and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience in fault analysis, diagnostics, and system testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under tight timelines.
• Immediate availability preferred
