Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Social Work)

Duties: 

• Develop innovative and engaging teaching materials to enhance student learning experiences

• Deliver comprehensive and thought-provoking lessons in the field of Social Work, fostering critical thinking and practical skills among students

• Provide dedicated tutorial support, ensuring effective communication and guidance to students

• Conduct research relevant to their field of expertise, and supervise students on research projects

• Supervise and mentor placement students, facilitating their professional growth and development

• Collaborate and establish strong partnerships with external agencies, promoting collaborative learning and real-world connections for students

• Organize and lead stimulating activities that enrich the student experience, fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Holder of a Doctoral Degree in Social Work or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution

• Being a Registered Social Worker with a minimum of 5 years’ Social Work relevant post-degree qualification working experience

• A proven track record in research, publications and grant acquisitions in their specialized fields

• Preference will be given to those with strong academic / professional and research experience

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
