Started with an aspiration to redefine and elevate the bakery landscape, Bakehouse by Grégoire Michaud is home to the city’s finest European-style baked goods and sourdough bread, all handmade on-site every day with the finest ingredients.
Founded in 2013 by Chef Grégoire Michaud, it started as a wholesale bakery specialised in supplying handcrafted sourdough and fine pastries to kitchens in town. This humble wholesale bakery has quickly shaken up the industry and received overwhelming support from esteemed players, including Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury 5-star hotels and airlines.
The success shed light on Hong Kong’s unfulfilled desire for quality bread. Chef Michaud felt the call to make artisanal bread more accessible to Hongkongers and nurture the city’s appreciation of artisanal baked goods. In 2018, the critically acclaimed neighbourhood bakery Bakehouse opened its door in Wanchai and took the bakery scene by storm in no time. Now, with five shops and wholesale available, Bakehouse has set the standard for artisanal bakeries and built a strong community bonded over the finest baked goods.

Job Duties:
- Assist in building an efficient team of staff, and ensure continuous improvement by taking an active interest in the safety, development, and motivation of staff
- Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor performance of the retail shop to maximize sales and productivity, manpower efficiency and customer service standard
- Assure Company standard can be carried out in terms of products quality, customer service level, hygiene and safety
- Organise & provide staff training
- Work with Area Operation manager to analyse weekly and monthly sales activity, revenue and P&L reports, to ensure adherence to budgets, business plans and targets
Requirements:
- Diploma or above
- 4 years experience in F&B industry with minimum 2 years managerial experience
- Demonstrate ability to lead the team and accomplish common goal
- Proven track record in sales generation, managing the achievement of sales result and profitability targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
- Responsible and passionate in catering service
- Strong multitasking and decision-making skills
- Good team player and ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail & extremely organised
