Assistant Project Manager (Façade Retrofit)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Act as the team leader for Project Engineering Team (Maintenance and Retrofitting Works);
• Monitor and manage performance and efficiency of Project Engineering Team and Sales Engineering Team operations, scopes and functions;
• Provide technical advice and solution on every aspect of site works arrangement, delivery schedule, supervision, coordination and management of subcontractors’ works;
• Decision maker and take lead for all site works organization, coordination and supervision works;
• Attend and organize regular site / project coordination meetings with clients and / or subcontractors;
• Develop and monitor the works programme, remedial proposal, method statement;
• Coordinate with other departments and inter-divisions on smooth operation of Works;
• Source and recommend suitable and qualified subcontractors for works;
• Negotiate and justify the subcontractors’ quotation / claims;
• Supervise and manage subcontractors’ works and monitor the progress of workdone by subcontractors to evaluate / certify / justify the interim payment and claims;
• Check and ensure accuracy and efficiency of works delivered;
• Maintain and manage the condition of stock items in warehouse / storage;
• Review and identify the potential risks / difficulties on both technical and site conditions;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:  

• Must have full working rights for Hong Kong;
• Certificate / Higher Certificate or above in Engineering / Building Services / relevant disciplines;
• Preferably with 10 years or above working experience in construction industry, in which minimum of 5 years in related field and 5 years in supervisor level;
• Sound knowledge in façade, curtain wall and relevant services and products;
• Well-organized, good team player with excellent leader skills;
• Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua;
• Result oriented, self-driven and good team leader; and
• Short notice will be advantage.
