Assistant Merchandiser

We are looking for a dynamic and high caliber professional to join our team.

The job holder will play a key role in the planning and execution of merchandise assortments for the stores in the region, by analyzing the market trends, managing the inventory levels, and collaborating with sales teams to optimize the product offering so as to align with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment across stores.
• Analyze and forecast sales trends as well as the inventory turnover to optimize inventory levels and maximize selling opportunities
• Working closely with merchandising managers, retail teams, VM teams and MKT teams for assortment planning, promotional activities, and image approvals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of seasonal merchandise plans based on market analysis, sales forecasts and historical data.
• Preparing reports for monthly meetings, monitoring sales performance, analyzing sell-through rates, and comparing current vs. last year’s performance.
• Handling replenishment orders, promotional orders, and uniform allocations; ensuring timely confirmation and placement.

• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned
  

Requirements:

• Fresh graduate welcomed with tertiary education in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related field
• 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in the fashion industry
• Passion in fashion with strong business acumen
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
