Assistant Merchandiser

We are looking for a dynamic and high-caliber professional to join our team as an Assistant Merchandiser. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of merchandise assortments for stores in the region by analyzing market trends, assisting in inventory management, and collaborating with sales teams to optimize product offerings in line with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist in monitoring stock levels and allocating merchandise to stores to help achieve commercial targets.

·       Support the analysis and forecasting of sales trends and inventory turnover to optimize inventory levels and maximize selling opportunities.

·       Collaborate with various teams, including buyers, planners, store management, and marketing, to ensure effective stock distribution and replenishment.

·       Help in the development and implementation of seasonal merchandise plans based on market analysis, sales forecasts, and historical data.

·       Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, including stock levels, sales trends, and allocation efficiency.

·       Assist in conducting product training sessions for the sales team.

·       Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

·       Tertiary education in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.

·       1 year of experience in merchandising related position

·       Prior experience in a related role is preferred, especially in the fashion industry.

·       A passion for fashion with a strong business acumen.

·       Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

·       A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
