Assistant Manager/ Manager (Marketing & Communications)

JOB OVERVIEW 

The Manager / Assistant Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications. The role will support planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to digital marketing and events. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Plan and execute marketing plan to recruit youth into various job role specific bootcamp programs. 
  • Strategize and develop communication messages that effectively reach the targeted youth. 
  • Support a website revamp project for a school-to-work transition program, tasks included but not limited to content consolidation and creation, translation, and mock-up pages creation.
  • Develop communication materials and create content, including but not limited to social media posts, videos, press releases, and other marketing materials that deemed necessary to promote the program.
  • Analyze data of digital marketing campaigns and improve marketing initiatives accordingly. 
  • Assist in the design, logistic management, recruitment, and promotion of online and offline events.
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.

WHAT CALIBERS YOU NEED TO POSSESS:

  • 6 – 7 years of Marketing experience in an NGO / education sector / business management / project management / charity projects in Hong Kong.; 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Strategic mindset and strong initiative to lead the achievement of program objectives and KPIs.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, flexible, embracing the opportunity for creativity and hard work inherent in a start-up environment. 
  • Strong and extensive event planning and management experience.
  • Meticulous to details and sound execution skills.
  • Ability to work against firm deadlines to achieve the targets and objectives. 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese) is a must. 
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office/Google Doc, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe & etc.
  • Knowledge in graphic design, publication layout design, website design, and/or video design is a plus.

We have trained and graduated 100,000+ people into careers across 17 countries with diverse social, economic and labour-market contexts. Our effort in Hong Kong covers 6 training programs in 3 future-oriented industries since 2018. Over 600 learners have been trained from around 40 cohorts. And the employment rate of our learners after graduation is close to 90%.
