Duties
The appointee will be required but not limited to:
- manage, co-ordinate and execute the College IT infrastructure projects by self and with vendors;
- manage the College network (switches, Wi-Fi and firewalls), servers (physical and virtual) and systems (M365, Windows and Linux);
- implement IT security controls and conduct security operations;
- develop, review and maintain system documents, operation procedures and guidelines;
- evaluate and recommend IT tools & technologies;
- provide after-office-hour standby/emergency support duties as and when required; and
- perform other duties as assigned by Head or his/her delegates.
Requirements
Applicants should:
- possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines;
- have sufficient years of relevant experience, preferably gained in tertiary education institutions or public organizations;
- have knowledge and solid experience in H3C switches, Aruba Wi-Fi, FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, WAF, reverse web proxy, Internet link services are necessary;
- have project experience in Internet network routing, BGP will be an advantage;
- have knowledge and awareness with security aspects, attacks and mitigations, compliance, and vulnerability;
- have knowledge and experience in document management and workflow system;
- have knowledge and experience in cloud platform, e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure;
- ideally have know-how in VMware server farm and vSAN, Veeam, Windows Active Directory, ManageEngine, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, M365, NAS and Linux system administration;
- ideally be certificate holders, such as CISSP, CISA, CCNA, MCSE, M365, AWS;
- have good problem-solving and analytic skills;
- have good interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills; and
- have strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently on projects as well as collaborate with the team.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

With the staunch support of TWGHs, TWC has been developing rapidly and built up a niche in healthcare education. It is the first self-financing tertiary institution offering professionally accredited degrees to train allied health professionals such as medical laboratory technologists, occupational therapists and radiation therapists. Besides, the College is also the first institution registered under Cap. 320 offering early childhood education degree and higher diploma programmes to train qualified kindergarten teachers and child care professionals.
Currently, TWC has 4 schools (namely School of Arts and Humanities, School of Management, School of Medical and Health Sciences, and School of Nursing) running a total of 20 degree, sub-degree, diploma, certificate and advanced certificate programmes in several disciplines.
