(Assistant) Accountant - Accounts Receivable (AR)

Responsibilities

1. Invoicing and Billing: Prepare accurate invoices for services rendered to clients and tenants.
2. Payment Tracking: Monitor and manage payments received promptly from clients and tenants.
3. Aging Reports: Generate aging reports to track outstanding receivables and proactively address overdue accounts.
4. Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts receivable balances with the general ledger.
5. Customer Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients regarding payment status, resolving disputes, and addressing inquiries.
6. Credit Control: Implement effective credit control policies to minimize bad debts and manage credit limits.
7. Cash Application: Accurately apply payments to customer accounts within the accounting system.
8. Collections: Initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts through appropriate channels.
9. Refunds and Adjustments: Process refunds, adjustments, and credit notes as necessary.
10. Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on accounts receivable performance to management.  

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline or above
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Flex System is a plus
• Detail-minded and self-motivated
• Proactive, independent, able to work under pressure and with good team spirit
• Strong PC skills & familiar with MS Excel and Word
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Immediate available preferred
