Application Analyst

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our POS-related applications in the Product Management Department.

Job Description

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for our POS-related applications.
• Investigating and resolving user-reported issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications.
• Identify the root cause of issues and either resolve them or escalate them to the relevant teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance Team to manage application testing activities.
• Understand business requirements and perform various types of testing, including Scenario-Based testing, Unit testing, API testing, Functional testing, Usability testing, Compatibility, and Performance testing.

Skills & Requirements

Fields of Study: Higher Diploma in Information Technology / Degree in Information Systems Management / Information Technology / Computer Science or related degrees.

• Knowledge of Windows / Linux, particularly with command line usage.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, and troubleshooting using Java logs.
• Experience with shell scripting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
• Fresh graduate will also be considered.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Application Analyst Associate.
