AP (Authorized Persons - Electrical) for MTR projects

Responsibilities

• Electrical isolation works mainly at non-traffic hours for all the MTR locations.
• On-site electrical safety of works on the electrical installations including the electrical isolation works of both HV and LV supply systems as well as the 1500V DC traction system
• Preparation and implementation of electrical system outage and switching logs, issuance and cancellation of electrical safety documents such as Limitation-of-Access, Permit-to-Work, Sanction-for-Test etc.
• Available to work at night, during weekends and on public holidays if required

Requirements

• Diploma holder or above
• Registered Electrical Worker Grade C0 / Grade H0 is must
• 5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, transportation industry for infra and commissioning work
• Experience in MTR is preferred
• Be able to raise a PTW (Permit to Work) and understand the required consequences.
• Good level of communication skills in written and spoken Chinese and English
• First Aider is advantage
