Duties

Provide support in strengthening alumni relations for the University development. Major duties include to:

  1. Develop and manage the communications strategies of the office including online and offline channels.
  2. Manage publicity materials, alumni stories, reports and proposals, including drafting and editing etc.
  3. Organise events and programmes to maximise alumni engagement and branding;
  4. Provide secretarial support;
  5. Liaise with alumni leaders and key stakeholders; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Irregular working hours and occasional travels outside Hong Kong on a need basis are required.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor's degree with more than 7 years’ post-qualification working experience;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  4. Proficiency in digital communication and social media management;
  5. Attention to details, creative approach to problem solving; and
  6. Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation to work independently and ability to work under tight timelines are required.
  7. Experience in communications and marketing and tertiary education institutions, especially in alumni affairs would be an advantage.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Alumni Relations Officer II.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
