Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Accounting and Finance Professional to join our project team and support our client's needs.  As a valued team member, this is a dynamic role that will give you great exposure to our client's business and a chance to showcase your abilities to deliver excellent service and solutions. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills, as well as able to work independently.

Job Description

• Maintain books and records of Singapore entity to ensure month end closing and reporting are in compliance with company policies and local accounting standards
• Ensure the reporting and schedule required by Corporate are completed on a timely manner
• Monitor compliance with internal control procedures and policies, identify and escalate exceptions from policies
• Liaise with auditor for Statutory Audits to ensure the audited report can be filed timely
• Liaise with third-party tax advisors to ensure all income tax filing and indirect tax filing can be filed timely
• Review the monthly financials and identify any issues or risk of misstatement and report to management timely and resolve the problem independently.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accountancy or related discipline
• Over 5 years of working experience including audit and retail/FMCG industry background is highly preferred
• MNC working experience is highly preferred
• Fluent in English and Chinese; good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in supporting South East Asia countries is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel, knowledge of Accounting System of JD Edwards and Coupa is a plus
• Details-oriented and strong time management skills, able to handle multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines
• A good team player, self-motivated, disciplined and resourceful
• Immediate available is preferred
