Accountant

Role Purpose \n

The Accountant, plays a critical role in supporting APAC Business Finance team. This position is responsible for assisting in reviewing sales orders, month end closing, financial reporting, audit, and providing actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making. The primary purpose of this role is to help the finance team ensure data accuracy, accounting books and records compliance, analyze financial data, track performance, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

• Review daily Order booking, conduct revenue recognition validation check, Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements.
\n
• Handle VSOE sampling and documentation.
\n
• Support the month end close, audit, business reporting by analyzing historical data and trends.
\n
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling as required to support decision-making by senior management.
\n
• Continuously improve financial analysis processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
\n
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that business processes are aligned with organizational goals
\n

\n In what areas will you perform? \n

Revenue recognition and business reporting

\n

\n
• Ensure accurate Booking and Revenue recognition, consolidation for Asia Pacific
\n
• Handle month-end accounting, top line accounts include P&L Business Revenue & Cost and Balance Sheet reconciliation
\n
• Assist in monthly business reports, other management analysis report
\n

\n

Audit and US GAAP reporting

\n

\n
• Assist in the quarterly audit and US reporting
\n

\n

Others

\n

\n
• Assist in streamlining procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
\n
• Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office software

• Familiar with Oracle / Hyperion / Revpro / PowerBI is an advantage

Competencies

• A good understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
\n
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions

• Proactive and self-motivated, capable of taking initiative.

• Mature, Detail-minded, Strong analytical and communication skills
