Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Recognition & Booking: Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and general accounting entries.
Group Financial Consolidation: Prepare and manage monthly group consolidation across multiple entities and jurisdictions in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Cross-Regional Finance Coordination: Act as a key liaison between the UK business unit and the finance team for core tasks including bookkeeping, treasury, and tax matters.
Reporting & Support: Report directly to the Finance Controller and provide assistance to colleagues in both the UK and Hong Kong as needed.
FP&A & Budgeting: Support financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and assist with compliance and ad-hoc reporting.
Policy Development: Assist in drafting and updating internal finance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, BD, and other departments to deliver financial insights and solutions that help the business thrive.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable university (local or international).
- ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to consolidation, gained from accounting firms or sizable corporations. (Outstanding fresh graduates will also be considered.)
Hands-on experience with Xero or other mainstream accounting systems; solid knowledge in consolidation, audit, financial analysis, and banking.
Strong command of English (used daily in work), with proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese an advantage.
- High attention to detail, team-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Confident communicator capable of working with both internal teams and external consultants.
