Quality Manager – Home Products (Hardgoods, Candle, Décor & Furniture, Textiles)

Job Highlights

·       Lead quality assurance across diverse home product categories: hardgoods, candles, décor, indoor furniture, textiles.

·       8+ years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in global sourcing environments

·       Expertise in UK, EU, and US market compliance and safety standards

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and execute global quality programs aligned with company, customers, and market requirements

·       Develop and maintain QA/QC documentation for internal and external audits

·       Provide technical support to vendors, QA teams, and merchandisers on testing and compliance

·       Ensure product quality and safety standards are met across all categories

·       Manage product testing, factory audits, sample approvals, and production monitoring

·       Resolve customer complaints and drive continuous improvement initiatives

·       Conduct regular factory visits for production control, inspection, ethical compliance, and performance evaluation

·       Collaborate with sourcing, ethical, finance, and logistics teams to ensure supply chain success

·       Research and implement new quality tools, technologies, and standards

·       Lead a small team to meet business needs

Qualifications & Requirements

·       Degree or above in a related discipline

·       Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management (less experience may be considered for Assistant Quality Manager)

·       Proven experience in handling products for UK, EU, and US markets

·       Strong knowledge of global safety requirements, ISO9000 / ISO14000, and AQL standards

·       In-depth understanding of product development, manufacturing, audits, and inspections

·       Experience in factory assessments and production monitoring

·       Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (other languages a plus)

·       Willingness to travel frequently
