We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Project Engineer to lead and execute complex network infrastructure deployment and migration projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in enterprise networking technologies, particularly with Cisco and Aruba hardware, as well as a deep understanding of application flows in secure, firewalled environments. The role demands excellent project coordination, communication, and documentation skills to ensure seamless project delivery within a banking or regulated enterprise environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end network infrastructure deployment projects, including application migration across global environments.
• Configure and deploy network equipment such as:
• Routers / SD-WAN: Cisco
• Switches: Cisco and Aruba
• Wireless: Aruba Wireless Controllers and Access Points
• Implement and troubleshoot core IP services including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NAC.
• Design and implement secure network solutions through firewalled environments, ensuring robust application flow and compliance.
• Ensure network architecture design follows industry best practices and enterprise standards.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing and switching protocols.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortigate) and load balancers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of delivery plans.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including network diagrams, change records, and handover packages for operations teams.
• Adhere strictly to the organisation’s network security policies, compliance requirements, and change management processes.
• Provide knowledge transfer and conduct technical walkthroughs for operational teams post-project completion.
• Coordinate all project activities, timelines, risk mitigation and reporting to stakeholders and senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure deployment and application migration projects.
• Expertise in configuring and deploying:
• Cisco routers and switches
• Aruba switches and wireless components
• Fortigate firewalls
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Solid experience in SD-WAN technologies, preferably Cisco-based.
• Proven ability to deliver in complex enterprise environments, preferably in financial or regulated sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience in working on large-scale network migration projects is essential.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation and conduct operational handovers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP), Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments is highly desirable.
