News Department

Responsibilities:

  • To edit and proofread online content

  • To manage i-Cable News app, website and social media platforms

  • To collaborate with designers and internal teams to produce image, article for online platform

  • To assist in growing online platform traffic, engagement and active users, and improve user experience

  • To monitor and analyse online platform performance

  • To develop and implement online platform strategy to ensure KPI is met

  • To assist in managing the team and work in emergency situations when required

Qualifications and Experience Required:
 

  • Degree in Journalism, Chinese, Communications or related disciplines

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in media industry is highly preferred. Fresh graduates will also be considered

  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop or other publishing tools

  • With knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a plus

  • Able to use data analysis tools (including Google Analytics and Crowdtangle etc) is preferable

  • Creative and detail-minded with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Immediate available is highly preferred
