Accountant / Accounting Officer

About the Role

Virtus Medical Group Limited is seeking a talented Accountant or Accounting Officer to join our dynamic finance team. This full-time position is based in our Sheung Wan offices in Central and Western District. As an integral member of the team, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial accounting and reporting requirements.

What You'll be Doing

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports

• Conduct regular account reconciliations and analysis to ensure financial data integrity

• Support the month-end close process and assist with the audit process

• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards and regulations

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA) is preferred
