Human Resources Specialist / Officer

People Department is under Cathay Subsidiary Services umbrella providing services Cathay Pacific Airways Limited’s subsidiaries including Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Manager to drive change in the role of business partner who serves as a consultant on human resources issues and align business objectives with employees and management in the business units.
• Deliver on boarding experience to new joiners via staff orientation programme, terminal tour, networking and etc. to build up cohesive & collaborating working culture.
• Plan, develop and coordinate different company campaigns and events to engage employees including but not limited to employee relation activities, CSR programme, wellness programme, annual dinner etc.
• Work closely with the People Department from Central Subsidiaries Section including to handle share service employment / deployment, Graduate Trainee Programme, etc.
• Prepare People related report e.g., headcount, KPI dashboards, analytics etc.
• Facilitate various People related projects in the areas of employee relations, staff experience, engagement, event management that support and meet business strategy.
• Handle ad hoc project as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications :

• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Communications or other business related discipline
• Minimum 5 years working experience in employee relation, staff engagement, event management and communication at sizable companies
• Passion to work in a fast pacing and dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and with good influencing skills
• Change agent, customer focused, detail minded, execute with excellence and result-oriented
• Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other relevant regulations
• Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge in video editing and social media tools is an advantage
• Candidates with less experiences would be considered as People Officer
