Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our market expansion efforts in Hong Kong. This role is pivotal in establishing our presence in the autonomous driving sector, focusing on strategic partnerships and high-value client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of executing complex deals and driving growth in new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnerships & Account Management: Identify, negotiate with, and secure strategic partnerships and key accounts. Serve as the primary relationship manager, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying new growth opportunities.

  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead the entire project lifecycle—from initial solution design and feasibility assessment to contract negotiation and final implementation—ensuring projects are delivered on time and exceed client expectations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between clients and internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Product). Mobilize and align internal resources to guarantee seamless project delivery and goal attainment.

  • Market Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry and growth strategy for the autonomous driving business in Hong Kong, translating corporate vision into actionable short, mid, and long-term business plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management, with at least 3 years focused on key accounts or large-scale projects. Direct experience within the Hong Kong Airport, logistics, or autonomous vehicle industry is highly advantageous.
  • Dealmaker Mindset: Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and close complex deals. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of advanced technology solutions.

  • Excellent Client Engagement Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust quickly with C-level executives and key stakeholders, understanding their underlying needs and drivers.

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinker: Strong problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities. You can develop robust business cases and translate high-level strategy into concrete execution plans.

  • Influential Leadership: A collaborative leader with the ability to influence and drive initiatives across different departments without direct authority, ensuring alignment and commitment.

  • Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English and Cantonese is required. Mandarin is a plus.
