Department of Design and Architecture
Major Duties:
The appointee shall report to the Programme Leader and Head of Department and engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching, learning, and assessment materials. He/she shall also support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities, supervise students’ projects, and provide academic and administrative support services, including the development of new programmes and courses.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree, preferably a Doctoral degree, in Logistics Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of teaching experience at tertiary level and/or professional experience in related fields. He/she should also have good interpersonal and communication skills, and good command of English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. Linkage with industry or professional bodies and experience in programme and curriculum development would be an advantage.
Notes:
(1) The post is at the rank of Teaching Fellow I/II.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus and/or nearby teaching premises.
