Assistant Manager (Plant & Logistics)

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager (Plant & Logistics), plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to execute task and expectations.
• Manage and schedule the workshop resources for plant repair and maintenance, equipment fabrication and retrofit, storage and mobilization, spare parts and materials inventory control.
• Ensure safety and efficiency of the fleet of plant operating in workshop.
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to fulfill site operation requirements.
• Liaise and coordinate with external parties and other departments for spare parts supply.
• Give advices on refining Department work procedures and to smooth operations.
• Consolidate department expenditures and prepare monthly plant hire report for Plant Manager approval.
• Special tasks or projects such as market survey or compiling technical reports assigned by Manager(s).
• Provide technical support and consultancy to Sr. Mechanic engineer for site trouble shooting.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Engineering or related field.
• 10 years work experience in bored pile construction plant with 5 years in supervisory level.
• Solid front line technical knowledge and leadership skill. 
• Familiarity with industry safety standard.
• Strong in interpersonal skill and responsibility. 
• Able to conduct training and prepare material to our operating and technical staffs.
• Experience in workshop management is preferable.
