Fashion Designer (3 months contract)

Job Responsibilities:

- Design custom-made tailoring, couture evening wear, and corporate uniforms based on trend research and creative concept direction.

- Develop designs for embellishments and embroidery.

- Source, select, and purchase fabrics and trims for production.

- Collaborate with fashion design and product development teams.

- Translate design directions and concepts into technical drawings and size fittings; monitor progress on sample development; follow up with the team on pre-production and production; and communicate with technicians and merchandisers.

- Conduct design presentations.

Job Requirements:

- Degree or Higher Diploma in design or a related discipline.

- At least 3 years of relevant fashion design experience; experience in custom making, tailoring, uniform making, couture, and evening wear is a plus.

- Strong portfolio.

- Good fashion sense, communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.

- Good understanding and experience with materials, product construction, and the production process is highly preferable.

- Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, mature, stable, and creative, with the ability to work under pressure.

- Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Chinese and Putonghua is a plus.

- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Familiarity with the global fashion market.
