On-site Project Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and deliver IT software development and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT, with substantial experience in project management, and a proven ability to successfully manage complex IT projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Hong Kong Government projects.This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who excels in stakeholder management, communication, and driving project progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Work on-site at customer's office in Hongkong and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and external vendors, to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.  
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage project dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.  
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.  
- Prepare and manage comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, reports, and post-project evaluations.  
- Support tender preparation and bidding processes as required.  

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. (both verbal and written).   
- Experience:  A minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with at least 12 years focused on project management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience managing Hong Kong Government projects.  
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a must. Additional certifications in Agile are a plus. 
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of application and infrastructure of complex IT projects.

- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and clients.  
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and project deliverables.
