Technician (Cyclotron & Radiochemistry Facilities), Nuclear Medicine Unit

Rank: Operation Assistant II

Pay: HK$19,764 to HK$24,023 per month

Work location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Responsibilities:

1.     Assist in radiopharmaceutical preparation and dispensing for laboratory operation.

2.    Assist in cleanroom and laboratory maintenance.

3.    Handle cleanroom and laboratory materials storage and refill.

4.    Cleanse and disinfect cleanroom, laboratory materials and specific equipment in laboratory area.

5.    Handle radioactive, chemical and clinical waste under supervision.

6.    Handle radioactive or chemical contamination under supervision.

7.    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Preferred Requirements: 

1. Tertiary education or F.5/S.5 in science background, especially in Chemistry.

2. Work experience in cleanroom or pharmaceutical laboratory, or handling radioactive substances.

3. Able to work on early morning shift on a routine basis.

Remarks:

1. The service of Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be relocated to the New Acute Hospital at the Kai Tak Developmental Area in phases starting from year 2026.
