Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To engage, recruit and provide direct services to ethnic minority elderly carers including casework, groups and programmes.
- To establish community contacts with stakeholders and other cooperating parties.
- To provide need assessment, guidance and referral services to service users.
- To support Project Supervisor in monitoring both service and administrative matters of the project.
- To work with university and develop an evidence based direct service practice.
Requirements:
- Holder of Bachelor Degree or above in Social Work.
- Recognized by Hong Kong's Social Workers Registration Board for registration Registered Social Worker.
- 2 or more years social work experience in ethnic minority or elderly services.
- Experience in case management and group work.
- Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese as well as precise and concise in English and Chinese writing.
- Computer literate with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passionate in serving ethnic minority community.
- Caring and patient with good communication skills.
- Mature and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in multi-districts.
- Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
