Junior Product Development Co-ordinator (Handbag)

Job Responsibilities –

• Assisting the Senior Product Developers & Senior Material Developers in sending and receiving samples or sample materials
• Tracking & recording delivery & receipt of samples or sample materials
• Assisting Assistant Sourcing & Material Development Manager and Senior Sourcing & Material Developer to send materials to Italy or US design teams for approval
• Collecting approved material swatches from factories and passing to production team as production standard
• Co-ordinating with factories to prepare final swatches to design teams
• Co-ordinating with factories to prepare market swatches to US team
• Downloading design packs from FTP, assisting to take photos of samples & updating in share drive
• Unpacking color run samples & cross checking sample list
• Coordinating with factories to develop gift boxes
• Managing inventory of hangtags, swatch cards, stationeries, packing tapes, carton boxes
• Assisting to keep tidiness of warehouse
• Performing any other duties as assigned

Requirements –

• No less than 2 years’ working experience
• Experience in handbag industry or prior merchandising experience in other industry
• Fair written and spoken English and Chinese, fair spoken Putonghua
• Good IT skills
• Team player, organized and efficient
• F.5 or above
