Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform sourcing and procurement of packing materials, raw materials, sundries, and grocery items.
• Perform supplier / pricing evaluation and recommendation, PO preparation, delivery expediting, and inventory control etc.
• Handle daily routines including expediting goods delivery, receiving goods, and coordinating deliveries.
• Maintain a steady supply by contacting our own farm for daily requirements.
• Verify suppliers’ invoices and delivery orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Collaborate with suppliers and the quality department to approve new vendors and materials.
• Support the Sales team in planning and implementing purchasing strategies for Food items.
• Assist in various ad-hoc tasks of the department head and prepare analysis report as assigned.

 
Qualifications: 

• Diploma or above in Procurement / Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand forecasting, supply management and inventory control, with shipping experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Immediately available is preferred.
