Assistant Manager (Quality Assurance)

Job Description

• Oversee quality management systems to ensure compliance with standards across incoming materials, work-in-progress and final products through testing, inspection, data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prepare relevant documentation.
• Supervise daily operations of paper and ink laboratories for checking of incoming materials and final products against approved specifications and standards.
• Evaluate and propose laboratory equipment, consumables, testing methodologies and quality inspection systems to support evolving quality requirements and operational needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and client satisfaction.
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Science or related discipline
• At least 5 years relevant experience in quality management, preferably in printing / manufacturing industry
• Experience in laboratory testing is an advantage
• Solid understanding of quality related statistics and risk analysis techniques
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good leadership, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Competency in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.
