System Engineer (. No.: AiDLab/P2.4/SE)

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties:

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “A Fully Integrated System for Intelligent Leather Inspection and Marking Planning”. The appointee will be required to:

a) Design and implement system architectures to meet project requirements.

b) Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

c) Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other IT personnel to integrate

systems effectively.

d) Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications.

e) Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

f) Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.

g) Perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates

Qualifications:

Applicants should have at least a bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related disciplines with at least two years of working experience and successful track records in system architecture, design, and integration related projects, proficiency in operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.) and virtualization technologies are preferred.
