Youth Worker (Youth Exchange Unit)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• To plan and organise exchange programmes and related activities for young people and educational institutions.
• To lead exchange groups to Mainland and overseas.
• To receive exchange groups from Mainland and overseas.
• To develop new series of exchange activities.
• To explore resources and collaboration partners within and outside Hong Kong.
• To conduct youth development training programmes as assigned.

Entry Requirements:
Study Fields：

• Recognized Degree, Associate Degree or Diploma in social sciences, education, communication, business, marketing, tourism or related disciplines.
• Solid two-year experience in organising youth exchange activities and training programmes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Well versed in global issues and Chinese culture and be able to keep abreast of the current affairs.
• Good command in both English and Chinese.
• Knowledge in using electronic and social media.
• Sociable with good communication attitude and skills.
• Experience in conducting youth development training programmes.

Certificate, License and Registration:

• Certificate Course of Outbound Tours Escorts and obtain a Tour Escort Pass issued by the Travel Industry Authority (TIA).

Additional Requirements:

• Occasional travel is essential.
