Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate accurate material requirements planning (MRP) and production planning (MPS) based on sales forecasts, historical data and market trends.
  • Coordinate sales, production, procurement and other departments to ensure the dynamic balance of demand and supply.
  • Monitor the inventory level of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products, formulate safety stock strategies, and reduce the risk of sluggish materials and out-of-stock.
  • Analyze inventory turnover and propose optimization plans to reduce operating costs.
  • Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to promote cross-departmental consensus and execution.
  • Manage global supplier delivery schedules to ensure on-time supply of critical components such as bearings, motors, hydraulic components, etc.
  • Proficient in using ERP (such as SAP, Oracle) or APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) system to optimize the planning process.
  • Establish supply chain performance indicators (such as OTD, inventory turnover rate) and output analysis reports on a regular basis.
  • Identify supply chain disruption risks (e.g., delivery delays, raw material shortages) and develop contingency plans.
  • Support the development of new projects, assess supply chain feasibility and participate in capacity planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in supply chain management, industrial engineering, machinery manufacturing, logistics management and other related majors
  • More than 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning or material planning in the machinery manufacturing industry, familiar with machining, assembly and other processes.
  • Familiar with the BOM and procurement cycle of mechanical products
  • Excellent cross-departmental coordination skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good English communication skills
