Videographer / Editor / Producer – Join a Small YouTube Production Team

About the Role
Join the small, hands-on team behind one of YouTube’s leading photography and filmmaking channels.
You’ll work directly with the host and channel owner on every stage of production — from concept to filming to final edit.

We’re a 3-person team, and this role is key to helping us grow. If you’re creative, efficient, and love being involved in all parts of video production, this role has huge potential to develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Film both on-location and in-studio using mirrorless cameras and gimbals.

• Set up and manage lighting, audio, and recording equipment.

• Edit engaging 4K video content for YouTube and download platforms.

• Assist in planning shoots, managing gear, and handling logistics.
• Help publish videos across social media and update the website.
• Support translation tasks (English ↔ Chinese).
• Contribute to photo editing, research, and creative development.

Typical week: ~2 days filming and ~3 days editing (varies by project).
Some flexible hours are required depending on shoot schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in video production and editing.
• Strong camera skills and experience using gimbals.
• Confident with lighting, audio, and multi-camera editing.

• Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Premier, (or similar NLE).

• Fluent in English; Cantonese a strong plus.
• Highly organised, reliable, and proactive.
• Comfortable working in a small team and handling multiple tasks.
• Valid passport a plus (for possible travel).

Working Environment

• Mostly on-site in our Happy Valley studio.

• After probation, some work-from-home editing may be possible when projects allow.

• Cat-friendly studio – must be happy to share space with a couple of feline supervisors 🐾.
