Social Media Specialist (Editor / Content Creator)

About The Role

autismilee LIMITED' is seeking a Social Media Specialist (Editor / Content Creator) to join our creative team in Sha Tin / Tin Hau District on a part-time, remote-friendly basis. In this impactful role, you’ll help shape and share our mission through engaging short-form video content across social platforms. Our work supports children with autism and their families, and we believe in using digital storytelling to connect, educate, and inspire. What You’ll Be Doing

• Review, refine, and edit existing footage — including therapy session clips and educational moments — to turn them into engaging, respectful, and platform-optimized content.
• Produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and 小紅書 (RED) that is aligned with our tone, values, and brand aesthetics.
• Add captions, transitions, overlays, and music to ensure videos are both emotionally impactful and audience-friendly.
• Collaborate with our internal team to determine content direction, storytelling angles, and how best to communicate our mission through video.
• Offer creative input on content structure, hook development, and call-to-action strategies for each platform.
• Organize, manage, and tag video assets to support efficient planning and publishing.

• Occasionally support basic graphic or carousel creation for integrated campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on skills in video editing for social media, using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Descript, or similar editing platforms (AI-enhanced tools are a plus).
• Experience tailoring video content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and 小紅書 (RED), with a good sense of current content trends.
• Solid understanding of branding and digital storytelling, especially when working with family-focused or emotionally sensitive content.
• Comfortable working with existing, imperfect footage — and enhancing it through creative editing and content framing.
• Able to work independently, manage time well, and keep an organized workflow.

• Sensitive and respectful when working with video content involving children and therapy settings.

  Bonus Points For:

• Cantonese language skills or familiarity with Hong Kong’s family audience.

• Experience in healthcare, education, or nonprofit marketing environments.
