Shipping Clerk

About the role

Heng Yu Technology (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the Import/Export & Customs operations of our growing manufacturing and logistics company.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and other relevant paperwork
• Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods
• Tracking shipments and monitoring delivery status to provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records and databases related to import/export activities
• Assisting with the preparation of reports and analysis on shipping performance metrics
• Collaborating with the logistics and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in using shipping and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office suite
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• A detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
