Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Join the dynamic team at Long Yue Electrical and Mechanical Engineering as an (Assistant) Building Service Coordinator / BS Engineer / E&M Project Engineer. In this full-time role based in the Kwun Tong District, you will play a crucial part in the company's Building Services Engineering projects, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality electrical and mechanical installations.

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre and post contract quantity surveying work on site including but not limited to subcontract payment, measurement, collation of records, contract administration and etc.
  • Responsible for the administration of main contracts and subcontracts, cost estimation, cost control and budgeting, material procurement, contractual claims and subcontractors’ claims for our construction projects.
  • Candidates will higher qualification will consider as Senior QS responsible for the overall QS services such as precontract documentation including bills of quantities and/or contract specifications; tendering procedures; post contract services including measurement of work, preparation of interim and final payment certificates, etc..

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, preferably with relevant professional qualifications such as MHKIS, MRICS, RPS
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience for Project Quantity Surveyor of which 7 years experience in main contractor side
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Project Quantity Surveyor
• Proven ability to work independently essential
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Positive and proactive attitude with strong sense of responsibility
• Fast learner and a good team player
• Detail-minded and self-motivated
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Putonghua desirable, but not essential.
• Good computer knowledge
