Senior Officer/Assistant Manager-Global Procurement(MOL Logistics (H.K.) Ltd.)

Responsibilities:

• Update and manage rates/terms, maintain Buy Rates database, benchmark Named Account (NAC), Freight for All Kinds (FAK) and Premium rate options;
• Support in managing ocean carriers’ service contracts, rate agreements filings and retrieving data for RFPs and bidding from ocean carriers’ websites
• Prepare procurement reports, including BAF adjustment summary, and surcharge charges table;
• Enhance Rate Request templates for FCL/LCL negotiations and ensure timely responses;
• Align procurement guidelines with sales/operations to support new business opportunities and assist sales teams;
• Monitor bookings, manage forecasts, guide carrier forecasting, and resolve carrier issues;
• Support product development, profitability studies, and propose enhancements for performance measurement processes/reports;
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years work experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry, with over 3 years of solid hands-on experience in a Procurement or Operations role;
• Good communication and analytical skills; adept at logical thinking, data gathering, and analysis;
• Well-organized, responsible, proactive team player with a positive attitude;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; solid skills with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint and Word)
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
