- A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent; a Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong; at least 5 years’ experience in the rank of Occupational Therapist I or equivalent.
- Good supervisory and management skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategy and planning for the development of Occupational Therapist services of Elderly Services;
- Provide clinical service to service users in need;
- Provide clinical supervision to junior OTs of Elderly Service Units;
- Plan, develop and monitor the application of Innovative Technology for advancing the service quality of rehabilitation of Elderly Service Units;
- Maintain good community relations for the enrichment and support of services rendered, including the coordination of clinical placement or research of tertiary institutions;
- Plan and implement innovative projects and service bidding such as dementia services.
Entry Requirement:
(i) A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent;
(ii) A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong;
(iii) At least 5 years’ experience in the rank of Occupational Therapist I or equivalent;
(iv) Good supervisory and management skills;
(v) Proficiency in English and Chinese; and
(vi) Preferably with experience in supervision or administration of elderly services.

Compensation and Employment Terms:
- Currently at $74,515 (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 34) per month.
- The successful candidate will be appointed in contract terms.
- The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review.
- The fringe benefits include paid leave, medical services, dental scheme and training sponsorship.
