Senior Manager – Risk Management

Job Responsibilities:

• Execution lead on risk strategy covering all relevant types of risk like Market Risk, Credit Risk, Funding Liquidity Risk etc. by establishing/maintaining a robust risk management framework
• Perform data testing and monitoring regularly for data quality assurance.
• Identify and assess risks in financial businesses, and carry out daily risk monitoring.
• Ensure that all activities eg. conducting a new business, trading products are aligned with Risk Management Policies
• Prepare risk management reports for BoD meeting and report risk related issues to top management regularly
• Coordinate with Taiwan team on risk management issues, updating positions and generating report
• Liaise with back offices and business units on risk requirements such as reasons for changes in positions or P&L
• Assess and prepare related risk report for investment projects and new product
• Monitor adherence to risk limits for all activities
• Alert trading desks of potential risk changes
• Assist in ad hoc project as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in Finance, Risk Management or any related disciplines
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in risk management field, with a preference for experience in a management position
• Proficient in Excel VBA
• Hands-on experience in using Bloomberg, Reuters, VBA, MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
• Qualified Accountant and / or holder of CFA and / or FRM will be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills as the role requires constant interaction with other departments
• Detail oriented, responsible and willing to work under pressure
• Good command in spoken & written Chinese, English and Mandarin
