Our client, a high-end retail brand is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Store Planning Manager to lead the design and project management of global retail store projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all store fit-outs and renovations are executed seamlessly, aligning with the brand’s vision, quality standards, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will need to have a deep understanding of luxury retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end execution of global store design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and timelines.
Design Management: Supervise design documentation including drawings, specifications, and material selections. Ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external consultants, landlords, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
Construction Oversight: Manage fit-out and renovation projects from concept through completion, guiding contractors daily and resolving RFIs and technical challenges.
Quality Assurance: Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring compliance with initial design intent and brand guidelines.
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with vendors, operations, and consultants to proactively address and resolve design-related challenges.
Process Optimization: Continuously improve project workflows and standards to enhance efficiency and quality across global initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in store planning, design management, or project management within the luxury retail sector.
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site projects across international markets.
Strong understanding of construction processes, design documentation, and retail operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager.
