Job Description

Our client, a high-end retail brand is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Store Planning Manager to lead the design and project management of global retail store projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all store fit-outs and renovations are executed seamlessly, aligning with the brand’s vision, quality standards, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will need to have a deep understanding of luxury retail environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end execution of global store design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and timelines.

  • Design Management: Supervise design documentation including drawings, specifications, and material selections. Ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external consultants, landlords, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.

  • Construction Oversight: Manage fit-out and renovation projects from concept through completion, guiding contractors daily and resolving RFIs and technical challenges.

  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring compliance with initial design intent and brand guidelines.

  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with vendors, operations, and consultants to proactively address and resolve design-related challenges.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve project workflows and standards to enhance efficiency and quality across global initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in store planning, design management, or project management within the luxury retail sector.

  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site projects across international markets.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, design documentation, and retail operations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project, and other relevant tools.

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager.
