Senior Manager / Director -- Design Management / Project Management

Job Description:

• Hong Kong based role;
• This is a role at client side as a Senior Design and Project Manager / Director to lead and deliver the detailed design in architecture, fit-out and interior design projects in China and Hong Kong;
• Based in Hong Kong, the role will be a key interface between developer and consultants as well as in-house design team to deliver projects on time, under budget and to the highest quality;
• Liaise with the in-house LDI and out-sourced consultants;
• Liaise with relevant parties on statutory submissions, approvals and inspections;
• Coordinate the design programmer, design and progress schedules with the Design Delivery Team;
• Comment, enhance, review and approve all design related matters;
• Ensure design briefs and functional requirements are met during the design, construction and renovation and fit-out period;
• Manage communication between stakeholders to ensure progress is met in line with brief;
• Coordinate and oversee consultants' technical review on Contractors' submissions, including material/sample submissions, method statements, shop drawings, etc;
• Assist the senior management in process improvements through reviewing the workflow and procedures;
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Degree or above in Design, Project Management or related disciplines;
•  HKIA/Registered Architect or equivalent certificates are highly preferred;
• At least 8 years of practical working experiences gained from design architectural firms;
• At least 5 years of design management or project management experiences gained from real estate developers;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin with strong ability to master communication across multiple stakeholders of the project
