Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• To support the Team of Process Innovation, this role will independently drive the day-to-day activities related to identifying, evaluating, developing, testing, piloting, deploying and supporting system and/or business solutions
• Manage the activities but not limited to solution ideation, data collection and analysis, business case preparation…etc. to develop and deploy business and/or system solutions that have the potential to provide efficiency improvements and/or reducing the operational cost
• Support the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures on behalf of GHQ, in support of the global International Freight Forwarding (IFF) Division
• Regular KPI monitoring and follow-up, requirements collection and preparation of new operating procedures to adapt to changes in our business environment.
• Identity, plan and implement improvement opportunities based on user feedback, the release of new features to our ERP, data analysis, etc.
• Solution design, development and deployment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Superior

 Qualifications

• Degree holder in any disciplines, Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, Project Management or any related discipline is preferable
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Ocean/Air Freight Forwarding with the knowledge of CargoWise One or similar Transportation Management System
• Experience in business process analysis and design
• Project and Team Management Experience, e.g. PMP or PRINCE II
• Able to think out of box, strong problem solving and analytical capabilities combined with critical thinking and research capability
• Self-starter, meticulous and good presentation skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
