Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery speed.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track stock availability.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Resolve supplier issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing.
  • Analyze purchasing trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and market conditions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role, fresh graduate will also be considered.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Candidates with oversea experience is a plus.
  • Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
