Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and track stock availability.
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Resolve supplier issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing.
- Analyze purchasing trends and recommend process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and market conditions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role, fresh graduate will also be considered.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Candidates with oversea experience is a plus.
- Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
