Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities of Project Manager:

A, To manage assigned projects mainly power generation and related project.

B. To ensure all projects assigned will be completed on time, within budget and to customer’s satisfaction both in technical performance and commercial compliance.

C. To assist the pricing and technical viability of new projects which are being tendered or pursued by the company

D. To coordinate the project work with customers, consulting engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, internal departments the company as well as any other stakeholders of the projects

E. To supervise the project team subordinate to complete their work and provide advices and guidances where applicable.

F.  To submit progress claim through monthly or staged payment schedules as agreed in the contract to ensure the project is in healthy cash flow

G.  To follow up with all payments from customer and to suppliers/subcontractors to ensure all actual cash flow is as forecasted

H.  To submit regular report, weekly and monthly, on the progress, invoice forecast of all assigned projects to management

I.    To submit project analysis report after completion of projects before handover to services department for maintenance and warranty during the defect liability period

Qualification (Selection Criteria):

• Mechanical / Electrical engineering academic or related trade qualification will be ideal.
• Substantial Hong Kong / Overseas Construction Project management and work independently with minimum supervision.
• 8+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in power generation or related industry
• Ability to supervise a team of project engineers and communicate with principal factory
• Fluent English, Cantonese and Putonghua are necessary on day to day communications with various stakeholders.
• Willing to travel.
