Product Designer

About the role

Form + Pac is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District. As a full-time member of our company, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and user-centric products that delight our clients and their customers.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new product ideas
• Create detailed product specifications, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design solutions
• Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and incorporate insights to refine designs
• Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and manufacturing requirements
• Work closely with engineers and production staff to oversee the entire product development lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions

What we're looking for

• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
• Preferably 2 years of experience in a product design role, preferably within the consumer goods industry
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD, Solidworks and/or other 3D modelling tools
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of successful product design projects
