Job Description

Company's Objective and Mission

Our objective is to meet the emerging housing, caring and other needs of our senior citizens as quickly, effectively and imaginatively as possible. In order to cope with the rapid social changes and the changing needs and aspirations of our senior citizens, we are always ready to tackle problems, try out new ideas and pioneer alternative approaches.
To provide an affordable and immediate alternative of retirement for the elderly including those desperately waiting for a subsidized care bed and dementia sufferers, we are running an integrated home in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province as the first elderly home ever run in China by a Hong Kong charity.
We provides Care Homes, Housing for the Elderly, Zhaoqing Home in Mainland China, Holiday Centre, Day Care Centre and various community support services for the elderly in Hong Kong.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop personalized rehabilitation plans for elderly residents to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being.

  • Implement and oversee therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive device recommendations.

  • Manage and supervise junior physiotherapists, and care staff, ensuring quality care delivery.

  • Lead staff training sessions on proper handling techniques, mobility support, and fall prevention.

  • Develop and implement fall prevention strategies, post-surgery rehabilitation, and pain management programs for residents.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, and occupational therapists, for integrated resident care.

  • Monitor and evaluate rehabilitation program effectiveness, making necessary adjustments based on resident needs.

  • Oversee physiotherapy equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in elderly physiotherapy.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.

  • Registered Physiotherapist with valid certification under Department of Health.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in physiotherapy, preferably in elderly care settings.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in engaging elderly residents.

  • Ability to work in Multi Units & Homes environments, adapting to resident needs and challenges.
