Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily financial accounting operations and overseeing financial activities

  • Prepare journal entries, monthly income and expenditure analysis reports, bank reconciliations, accounting schedules

  • Assist supervisor and manager in preparation of projects accounting, month- end and year-end procedures, management reporting and analysis

  • Work closely with service units and other departments on accounting operation and financial accounting matters

  • Review work procedures / work system and ensure compliance with the Association’s financial rules and regulations in the accounting functions

  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting, Business, or related discipline

  • Minimum 3–5 years' relevant working experience

  • Exposure to implementation of system enhancements and performing users’ acceptance testing is an asset

  • Proficiency in knowledge of accounting software

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Good analytical skills and PC application including MS Word and advanced level in MS Excel is desirable

  • Good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality

  • Good initiative, great sense of commitment and a good team player

  • Candidates with less qualification and relevant working experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Officer
